New Minelab Explorer II Metal Detector
Minelab touts "Explorer II is the latest top of the line metal detector from Minelab. It replaces the world famous and hugely successful Explorer XS and is the most full-featured, informative best performing metal detector available today."

I Just had a review of the new MINELAB Explorer by one of the
representatives from their company, Gus Lagerstrom. He has been qualified
as a Master Detectorist. Gus gave a very complete explanation of the
controls and all the advantages of their latest detector.

Minelab advertises it as: For the SERIOUS "Detectorist". I have to believe
that, as it's got more whistles & bells, all done with a four (4) easy push
button control system.

The following comments are from their latest ad placed in the July issue of
Lost Treasure magazine and after checking out the spec's, I would recommend
everyone interested in detecting to really give it a long look.

POWERFUL ACCURATE - 28 frequencies operating simultaneously, sends and
receives much more information to the Explorer II than a standard 1 or 2
frequency VLF detector. The information is then processed by the Explorer
II's NEW 2nd Generation software to provide the world's most accurate
discrimination. That means you don't have
to waste time digging junk.

INCREDIBLE DEPTH - The lower the frequency 1.5kHz for example, the deeper
the signal travels, and the higher the frequency. 100 kHz for example, the
more sensitive the detector is to smaller objects, closer to the surface.
This explorer II combines the best of both worlds (and everything between).
When you're hunting with an Explorer II, you can be sure you have the most
powerful treasure hunting detector in the world. You'll have the
technological edge other brands only dream of.

SIMPLE and VERSATILE - Beginners will appreciate the Explorer II's "turn
on and go" simplicity. Just turn it on, set your threshold, press noise
cancel, and you're ready to hunt in settings optimized for virtually any
condition. Advanced users will love the power to customize countless
programs. Article Manager module by by George! Software.
